I use Linksys and it does have the 4 slots but also anyone with wifi and my key can connect through my wireless network in my house..

u need to be connected to the router, so connect the ethernet from the router to the computer.
open ur browser and type "192.168.1.1" on the address bar, this will take u to the router.

to give u a step by step I would need to know ur router's make. but usually in basic setup theres a tab that asks if ur connection needs a login name and password.. just disable it
